Sicilian Lemons

There are lemons, and then there's a lemon that grows on Mount Etna.

Ours grow in the same volcanic soil of Palagonia, and you can taste it: fragrant peel rich in essential oils, juice with just the right acidity, never flat. They're the kind of lemon that only needs grating to transform the flavor of an entire dish.

Like all our citrus fruits, they arrive with the leaf attached, whatever the size — proof that they were picked at just the right time, not before.

Perfect for:

  • Everyday cooking: dressings, marinades, desserts, fish
  • Fresh drinks and granitas, wherever you need real, untamed acidity
  • For those looking for a lemon to use whole — peel included, without a second thought

The same land, the same care for three generations. A small fruit, but with all the character of Mount Etna inside.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the peel to make Limoncello?

This is the perfect lemon for Limoncello! The peel is unwaxed, untreated, and rich in fragrant essential oils. Just rinse them with water and they are ready for your homemade liqueur.

Are these lemons juicy?

Yes, our Sicilian lemons have a rich pulp and an excellent juice yield, ideal for lemonades, granitas, dressings, and your favorite seafood recipes.

How do I store them so they don't dry out?

If you use them quickly, a fruit bowl in a cool, dry place is fine. To keep them perfectly juicy for longer, we recommend storing them in the crisper drawer of your fridge.

Do they arrive with leaves attached?

Often, yes! Since we pick them when you order, we try to leave some leaves on the stem as an absolute guarantee of their freshness.

Can I order just a few kilos of lemons?

Of course! If you don't want a whole box, go to our Custom Box page and create a mix: for example, oranges, clementines, and a few kilos of lemons.
