Auterfruit Jam

It’s not what you spread on bread when you don’t have fresh fruit. It’s what you bring to dinner at someone’s house when you know they have good taste.

Every jar comes from our own trees—harvested with the leaf still attached, with no added sugar and no preservatives. Just fruit, lemon, and the time it needs. The recipe hasn’t changed in 30 years because my grandfather learned it from his grandfather, and that’s not something you improve.

You’ll notice the murky color? It’s not a flaw—it’s the real color of the fruit, not what comes out of a tube. You’ll notice the thick texture? That’s because we don’t use industrial pectin. You’ll taste the acidity? That’s Etna’s terroir, that volcano that makes impossible fruit grow.

Choose your flavor:

Bitter Orange — November–December. That sharpness that cuts through butter. One spread will explain it better than a thousand words.

Blood Orange — The Tarocco blood orange that grows only on our lava stone. A color you won’t forget.

Mandarin — Real sweetness, without compromise. Mandarin for those who love mandarins.

Order. Taste it. Then you’ll understand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an artisanal or industrial marmalade?

Our marmalade is 100% artisanal. We prepare it following our ancient family recipe, using only the finest oranges grown in our orchards in Palagonia, processed while extremely fresh.

What are the ingredients? Are there any preservatives?

We use only natural ingredients: whole Sicilian oranges (including our pure, edible peel) and sugar. No chemical preservatives, no colorants, and no artificial pectin added.

What does it taste like? Does it pair well with cheese?

It has the classic, unmistakable sweet-and-bitter taste of authentic orange marmalade, with real orange peels inside. Wonderful for breakfast, but also a perfect gourmet pairing for aged cheeses.

How should I store the jar?

As long as the jar is sealed, you can store it in a pantry in a cool, dry place. Once opened, it must be kept in the refrigerator and consumed within a few weeks.

Can I add a jar to my box of fresh citrus?

Absolutely! We highly recommend adding one or more jars to your cart before checking out. They will travel safely inside the same box with your fresh fruit.
