Our blood oranges grow in the same volcanic soil at the foot of Mount Etna, but they have a character all their own: flesh ranging from deep red to purplish, with a bolder flavor, almost like berries, that sets them apart from any other orange you have ever tasted. It is no coincidence that the temperature swings between day and night here in Palagonia are precisely what create this uniquely distinctive pigmentation.

The red ones also arrive with the leaf attached, in every size. To us, it is a sign of respect for the fruit: it is picked when it is ready, not when it is convenient.
